ChesSIE (Chesapeake Science on the Internet for Educators) is a unique web-based resource center and communications hub, broadly supporting watershed-wide K-12 Chesapeake Bay science education. ChesSIE provides educators with access to quality Bay-related education resources, online data and professional development opportunities, and provides researchers, resource managers and other Bay stakeholders with a venue for sharing information and connecting with K-12 classrooms. ChesSIE also supports all Chesapeake Bay Program Education Initiatives by providing a central contact point for all Chesapeake Bay Program education programs. ChesSIE is supported by the Environmental Protection Agency through the Chesapeake Bay Program. It is one of the Chesapeake Bay Program Education Initiatives funded in 2001. ChesSIE Staff
ChesSIE Committees The Advisory Committee advises on website structure and policy.
